What it's used for
Oseltamivir phosphate is used for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated influenza A and B in patients 2 weeks of age and older who have been symptomatic for no more than 48 hours, and for the prophylaxis of influenza in patients 1 year and older.

Typical dosing
For adults and adolescents 13 years and older, the treatment dose is 75 mg twice daily for 5 days, while pediatric and renally impaired patients have weight- or kidney-function-based dosing adjustments.
