A licensed clinician who takes a real history, chooses with you from every option — not just the one that is being advertised — and adjusts over the months it actually takes. On video, from home.
Your Tab membership covers primary care and covered everyday generic medications at $0 with an active membership, at participating pharmacy locations nationwide or through mail order. Weight care is different work: a longer first visit, a proper look at your history, your medications and your risks, dose changes over the first few months, and check-ins that keep going after the first prescription. Most online weight programs sell one drug and a subscription. That is not care.
So we made it a separate clinical program. You are paying for the clinical relationship, not for pills.
Video visits with a licensed U.S. clinician experienced in medical weight management.
Established oral medications, GLP-1s where they are appropriate, or no medication at all. Your clinician decides with you.
Prescriptions go to your local pharmacy as FDA-approved medication. No compounded vials, no mystery packages.
Four of the most commonly prescribed weight medications are on Tab’s covered list — $0 with an active Tab membership when filled at participating pharmacy locations nationwide or through mail order. If your clinician prescribes one of them, the medication itself costs nothing on top of the program.
Being straight with you about the rest: GLP-1 medications (Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro and their generics) are not on the covered list. If you and your clinician decide a GLP-1 is right for you, the prescription goes to your pharmacy as brand-name medication and you pay the pharmacy’s price or your insurance copay. We do not sell compounded GLP-1s. Your clinician decides what is right for you — not our formulary, and not us.
Weight care is sold on a prepaid term, not month to month — because the care is front-loaded and it works better when you stay through the adjustment period. The longer the term, the lower the rate.
The clinician, the follow-ups, the dose management. No Tab membership required. Medication is not included at this price; you pay your pharmacy’s cash or insurance price for anything prescribed.
If you already have — or sign up for — a Tab primary care membership, weight care is delivered as a single all-in program on the same term and renewal date. Covered weight medications are $0 with active membership at participating pharmacy locations nationwide or through mail order. Home delivery is preferred for recurring prescriptions.
Combined pricing follows the same structure as our hormone care program: your Tab plan for the term plus the weight care term above, in one payment. Full combined pricing is shown when enrollment opens.
Each term is charged in full at purchase and renews at the end of the term unless you cancel. Cancel anytime — your plan simply won’t renew. The term you have already paid for runs to its end and is not refunded or pro-rated. Full detail in the Terms.
No. Your clinician decides what is appropriate after reviewing your history, and may recommend something other than medication or decline to prescribe. You are paying for the care and the assessment, not for a particular drug.
Only if your clinician thinks it is right for you. GLP-1s are not on the covered list, so if one is prescribed you pay your pharmacy’s price or your insurance copay for brand-name medication. We do not sell compounded GLP-1s.
Metformin, bupropion, topiramate and phentermine, with active membership at participating pharmacy locations nationwide or through mail order. Phentermine is a controlled substance; whether it can be prescribed by video depends on your state and federal rules, and your clinician will tell you.
We do not promise a number. Results depend on the medication your clinician chooses, on you, and on time. Anyone quoting you a figure before meeting you is selling, not treating.
Anytime, with no cancellation fee. Cancelling stops the next renewal. The term you have paid for runs to its end — we do not pro-rate an unused part of a term.
Availability depends on where our clinicians are licensed, and it varies. We will tell you before you pay.
No. Tab is a membership and prescription-savings program. It is not health insurance and not a substitute for it.
